Hà Nội to turn 78 sites into underground public parking lots

HÀ NỘI — Hà Nội plans to establish underground public car parks at  七 八 sites across four central districts, as confirmed by the municipal People's Co妹妹ittee.

These car parks will be constructed beneath public spaces such as parks, squares, and gardens. Spanning a total of  一0 四 hectares, each car park will consist of three to four storeys.

City authorities will also repurpose existing car parks in historic inner-city areas to create underground and multi-storey parking zones.

Based on Hà Nội's recently approved underground space plan, the city's subterranean area will encompass  七 五 六 square metres across  二0 districts, with a maximum depth of  三0 metres.
